Give the gift of Confidence and Respect
As parents, we want our children to be confident in their daily walk and respectful to others. Our kids programs offer character development combined with playful exercise that burns their unlimited energy while teaching them body movements that allow them to effectively protect themselves against bullies. Little Lambs
Ages 4 to 7
Little Lambs received the name as a result of the innocence of the age. These children spend most of class learning a foundation of body mechanics and skills that will help them grow into young adults that are confident in their own abilities as people. While they are introduced to the technical side of self defense, they are a bit young to be able to employ them against someone, so we make it a focus to share it and encourage them as they slowly begin to understand the power of Jiu-Jitsu.
Little Lions
Ages 8-12
Little Lions are for the children who have now become exposed to the world they live in. There is more of an understanding of themselves and the effects they have on those around them. With that understanding comes the ability to train them with more detail. They will be submerged in technique while being supported by other instructors and students. With safety in mind, The Little Lions are called to gain a detailed understanding that the techniques they learn and use are for defensive purposes only and not for play time, making sure they don't accidentally hurt themselves or others.

What to expect with progression:
Please make note that the "required times" are a guideline and not exact time frames. Children learn and progress at different rates and to hold a child back or promote to early will not help them in the short or long term. Children receive rank through a combination of increased maturity (focus, respect, integrity, confidence) and application of skills. We promise that your child will receive the credit for the progress they make, all we want is for the child to enjoy the process and to not pressured to "make the next rank" as they are on this journey.
